South Bay Adult Soccer League (also know as SBASL) is a recreational and amateur soccer league situated in San Jose, California, serving Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz and Alameda Counties. SBASL was established in 1975 and currently has 200 registered teams.
The South Bay Adult Soccer League is a recreational and amateur soccer league designed to be utilized by the greater San Jose Metropolitan community and outlying counties. It is our mission to provide quality soccer events using professional referees and experienced staff. Besides providing an excellent value to our teams and customers, the South Bay Adult Soccer League is determined to create an unrivaled soccer atmosphere to provide greater enjoyment to all members.
The South Bay Adult Soccer League is an all inclusive soccer league for adults. The league provides several seasons of league play and hosts 3 to 4 annual soccer tournaments. During summer months the league sponsors "training camps" for adults wishing to improve their game skills.
South Bay Adult Soccer League provides different options for teams with leagues for men only, men 35 years and 50 years and over and very popular co-ed competitive and recreational league. Additionally, all leagues have several levels of skill and ranking from beginner's to professional/amateur level. Teams are provided a seasonal package of 10 weeks of play against other teams within their chosen division. Each game includes referees, a playing field and field maintenance.
Tournament teams are provided 3 games guaranteed with 2 to 3 referees, a playing field and field maintenance. Tournaments are designed to be for men only, women only or co-ed and are typically completed within a weekend. Tournaments will be offered to several ability levels and winners will receive trophies.
